🏆CC🧭🔵 | Self-Growth | Finding Aligned Guidance and Tuning Out the Marketing Experts Teach Clear, 10/28/201911/07/2026 I was scrolling on my phone last night. The kind of scrolling where you tell yourself you are just checking one thing. And there it was. “High-converting funnel architecture” or your creative work is going to die. And below it, “scarcity triggers by Thursday” or you are leaving money on the table. And below that, a countdown timer. And below that, another one. I closed the phone. And I sat at my kitchen table with a cold cup of coffee and I thought: I have been teaching for twenty years. I have learned four languages as an adult. I have built and destroyed and rebuilt this thing for thirteen years. And I was almost believing that I needed a funnel. Close the tab The noise is not the signal. I know this in my body. When I open those feeds, something in my chest gets tight. Not excited. Tight. Like a fist closing. And the tightness is not because the information is bad. It is because the speed is wrong. The urgency is wrong. The “do this by Thursday or lose everything” energy is not mine. It was never mine. I have a rhythm. It is slow. It is the rhythm of a person who teaches, who raises a child, who builds in the dark for a long time before the thing is ready to be seen. And that rhythm is not a problem to be fixed by a “growth hack.” You already know I do not need a dashboard. I do not need to “track my metrics.” I do not need to A/B test my porch invitation. I need to write the thing. The thing I have been carrying for years. The thing that wrote itself on a receipt in a parking lot because my body would not let me keep it inside. Twenty years of teaching taught me one thing about communication: if you have to explain it in twelve steps, you have not understood it yet. If you can say it in one plain sentence to a person sitting across from you at a table, you are ready. That is the whole test. Can you say it to one person, plainly, without a funnel? If yes. That is the post. That is the book. That is the thing. One person at the table I am not building for an “audience.” I am not “optimizing for engagement.” I am writing for one person. The person I was three years ago. The one who was hiding. The one who had the thing inside her and did not know if it was enough. So I keep the page clean. I keep the words plain. I keep the space open. No flashing banners. No “act now.” No countdown timer. Just the words, and the table, and the one person who needs to hear them. And if that is not enough for the algorithm, that is fine. The algorithm is not the person at the table. 🎧 If you would rather listen to this one, the audio is here. Take it if it is for you. 🧭 If you want to go deeper into this, Discover Your Path is the full guide. 🏆 This is part of Coach Clear. The slow, honest work of finding your way. coachclear.net 1.
