🏆CC🧭🔵 | Self-Growth | CC | You Do Not Find Your Purpose. You Build It. Coach Clear, 12/10/201711/04/2026 I used to think purpose was a place. A destination. You would finally get there, and everything would make sense, and you would stop searching. That is not what happened. What happened is this: the searching is the thing. The slow, honest, sometimes frustrating work of asking yourself “what am I actually here for” — that is not a detour from your purpose. That is the purpose. Learning does not end. I spent years thinking that once you had the degree, the certification, the “I figured it out” moment, you were done. You were not. Every room I walked into after that — the classroom, the kitchen table with my son, the language I was learning as an adult — taught me something the last room did not. Learning is not a phase. It is the shape of a life that is still alive. Self-reflection is not a luxury. It is the work. You do not need a journal. You do not need an app. You need a quiet moment and the willingness to sit with the question: “What actually mattered today?” Not what was productive. Not what looked good. What mattered. That question is the one that keeps building the thing. Curiosity is the engine. Not the performative kind. Not the “I am so curious about everything” kind. The quiet kind. The kind that makes you stop in the middle of a sentence because a word landed differently than you expected. The kind that makes you try the thing you are not supposed to be good at, just to see what happens. That curiosity is what keeps the door open. The journey is not a problem to solve. I think we treat the in-between like it is a failure state. Like if you are still searching, you are doing it wrong. You are not. The in-between is where the building happens. The destination is a myth we tell ourselves so we will keep moving. The moving is the point. You do not have to do it alone. Not because you are not enough. Because the conversations with people who are also searching — who are also in the in-between — add a dimension you cannot get from sitting alone. You do not need a “community” in the branded sense. You need one person who gets it. One honest conversation. That is enough to keep the thing alive. Be patient with yourself. Seriously. The path is not a straight line. You will go in circles. You will think you have it figured out and then lose it again. That is not a setback. That is the rhythm. You are not falling behind. You are in the middle of the thing. You do not need to arrive. You need to keep building. 🎧 If you would rather listen to this one, the audio is [here](BMaC link).
