🏆 CC 🧭 🔵 | Self-Growth | You Did Not Choose the Goal. You Copied It Coach Clear, 12/11/201711/01/2026 You did not choose the goal. You copied it. From a feed. From a colleague. From the version of your life that looked correct when you were 14 and did not know any better. And now you are running toward it. And the thing is: you do not want to be there. You want to be here. In the kitchen. At the table. With the thing you are actually doing. But the running is easier than the stopping. Because if you stop, you have to look at what is actually in front of you. And ask: is this mine? Or did I copy it? That is the whole question. Not “what is my purpose?” Not “what is my passion?” Just: is this mine? Look at what is in front of you. The work. The family. The hours. The thing you do at 6am and the thing you do at 9pm. And ask: did I choose this? Or did I inherit it? If you inherited it — that is not a failure. That is information. You can put it down. You do not owe anyone an explanation for putting it down. You do not owe a transition plan. You do not owe a 5-year strategy. You just put it down. And you pick up the thing that is actually yours. And the thing that is actually yours is probably quieter than the one you copied. It probably does not have a hashtag. It probably does not look like a success story. It probably looks like: the kitchen table. The work. The family. The thing that is good enough. That is enough. You do not need the empire. You need the table. This is part of Coach Clear. The slow, honest work of finding your way. coachclear.net 1. Inner Growth, Learning, and Creativity (PFJs Blog) 5.
